Began in summer of 2013. A trip to rural parts of India, gave us an opportunity to embrace many cultures as well as vibrant foods. We were also fortunate enough to meet some local organic farmers, and what started as a leisure trip, turned out to be an eye opening experience.

We realized that, living in metro cities does provide us with many privileges and comforts, but it also leaves us oblivious about the quality of food we consume everyday.

we couldn’t help but contemplate. . .
is the food we buy from superm arkets/kirana stores back home, as safe as it shoul d be? are we benefiting from the essential nutrients that the food ‘supposedly’ offered? is it right to disregard the efforts of organic farmers and pay attention to adulterated food with attractive packaging? we decided to explore further and get the answers. our pursuit led us to meet and interact with many organic farmers from various parts of the country. it was only after we lived and worked on an organic farm and began learning from people that dedicated their lives to organic farming and princ iples of fair trade that we understood.

the negative impact of fertilizers, pestic ides, insectic ides an d other c hemicals on our food an d in turn our well-being the en dless obstacles that the organic farmers face to get their produce to the customers how we are slowly an d steadily hurting our pl anet, by buying an d consuming genetically grown products

inspired and determined, we headed back with a purpose to propagate the
importance of organic food and support organic farming practices.
